Stephan Siepermann

Stephan Siepermann graduated in 1997 as a luthier and first worked a few years as a furniture restorator. His conceptual skills were trained at the Design Academy Eindhoven, where he graduated in 2005. He started his studio in 2008 in Utrecht in a medieval cellar where he creates furniture objects, interiors, kitesurfboards and all kind of other products. He works mainly with wood but also with metal, plastics, textile electronics and ceramics. Siepermann produces his own collection but he works as well in commission. He is often described as a creative centipede.
